Ramen is more popular than ever in the culinary world, with numerous Japanese eateries opening up to serve this hearty soup dish. Isshindo Ramen opened a few months ago with a menu full of creative Japanese ramen dishes.
The chef’s signature creation is the Isshindo ramen bowl, which teems with classic tonkotsu broth. Tender noodles, pork char siu, wood ear mushrooms, bean sprouts, red ginger, and scallions swim in the broth with a soft-boiled egg on top. When you’re in the mood for something spicy, try the spicy miso ramen. It features house-made miso broth infused with some heat, plus pork and noodles, sweet corn, black garlic oil, scallions, and sprouts. In addition to ramen, the newly unveiled eatery also offers rice bowls and starters such as seaweed salad and fried chicken.
