How do you set yourself apart is a sea of dining options in Boston? The newly opened The Westland is doing it with simple, American fare in a classy, relaxed tavern setting. And although only being open less than two months, is already earning great reviews.
Folks love the Westland’s broad selection of food, perfectly balanced cocktails and generous portions. Look for gastropub-style fare like small plates, burgers, and grilled pizza, along with elevated entrees like porchetta with crispy brussels sprouts or beef Bourguignon. Be sure to treat yourself to a drink with dinner, or stop by just to sit at the bar. The Westland’s signature cocktail is the Old Fashioned, and they also feature inventive libations with house-made cordials and rare liqueurs.
The Westland opens at 5 p.m. for dinner seven days a week, and the bar opens an hour earlier to get your evening started. Make reservations if you are headed out on a Friday or Saturday night, as it already promises to be a popular spot.
