You know that wonderful smell of old, well-loved books? Well they don’t get any older or more loved than at Brattle Book Shop. It is one of America’s oldest and largest used bookshops, and specializes in both rare, antique books, and the ones that you’ll pick up to read again and again.
The third floor is dedicated to the antiques, from first editions and collectables, to beautiful leather-bound rarities. An experienced buyer is on hand if you think you’re sitting on something rare and are ready to sell. Otherwise, just come to enjoy the classic books, the odd books, the silly books, and everything in between.
Brattle Book Shop is located in the heart of downtown Boston on West Street. They are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
