Though it has only been open for a few months, Beacon Street Locale has quickly made itself a destination in the Back Bay. Locals grabbing a beer after work, baseball fans having a drink before making their way to Fenway, and groups of friends out bar-hopping on a Saturday night all make it a point to stop by this up-and-coming bar and grill.
Its location at the intersection of Mass Ave and Beacon Street makes it a convenient rally point to meet up with your group at the beginning of the night, while the restaurant’s late hours (the kitchen is open until 1:45 a.m.) make it a popular spot to close out the night. While this place maintains the classic bar food and beer specials established by its predecessor The Crossroads, Beacon Street Locale also offers an impressive cocktail list and menu items that showcase the kitchen’s talent — several Yelpers say that this place’s meatballs and Bolognese sauce is even the best around.
